Of course, seeing Craig Morgan headline a show is always a treat. No sooner had he settled on his three-legged stool with his guitar, Morgan immediately brought the crowd to laughter. He apologized profusely and mentioned he hadn't looked in the mirror with his tighter-than-usual pink shirt on, not noticing that it might have been a little more snug than he had hoped, and promised the audience he would never wear it again. He then went on to perform songs such as "International Harvester" and "This Ol' Boy".
Morgan, a United States Army veteran recently explained to FOX411 how he lives his life with lyrics from his hit song, "When I'm Gone." He graced the audience with a moving rendition of this emotional song.
"For me it's the very first line of the song that hooked me-- 'My last breath I want to take with a smile'-- that's pretty much the opening line of my life," Morgan said.
He ended the set with "Wake Up Loving You" and closed the evening with my personal favorite -- “Bonfire”.
We sure hope to see Love and Theft and Craig Morgan back in our area real soon.
