Jack & Tim – Little House Big Love Lyrics

Verse
I got an old school twenty-two flat screen on the table
Got a hole in my pocket but it’s cool cuz I like the breeze
I don’t work but if tomorrow comes
It ain’t the way you’re goin’, it’s where ya’ from
And right here right now, is where I’m meant to be

Chorus
Cuz I don’t need a fancy car to drive you crazy
And I don’t need to feel I got one movin’ you
And all I got is all I need and all I ever wanted
A little house, big love

Verse
Yeah, I don’t want no billion dollar ratchets and a tow yacht
I don’t care about being on the cover of a magazine
And if I don’t bank up I don’t mind at all
Money can’t buy me what I want
And as long as I’ve got you right there next to me

Verse
I don’t care about the Maybach on the drive way
And I don’t need a jet to fly me to the moon
All I got is all I need and all I ever wanted
A little house, big love

One, two, three!
A little house, big big love
A little house, big big love
A little house, big big love
A little house

Outro
And all I got is all I need and all I ever wanted
All I, c’mon sing it with me
little house (little house and a big big love)
little house (a little house)

Song Meaning & Review

Money can buy us happiness, but only satisfaction for a short period of time. What makes us eternally happy cannot be purchased by cash. Jack & Tim released a new song entitled “Little House Big Love,” reminding us that even the little things can make us happy, not only those vast amounts can buy.

In the verses of the song, the singer sang about having a twenty-two-inch flat-screen TV, a hole in a pocket, no job, no fancy car, nothing expensive to boast about, or simply just talking about how simple his life is.

Even though he got nothing to show off when it comes to society’s standard of a successful life, he still believes that his life is still good because he got this thing called love, which not a lot of people can afford or buy with money.

It’s a reminder to everyone that it’s okay not to fit into society’s standards. We are good as long as we’re happy. I wish everyone would take the same, that not everything is about money. We should all be content with what we have because, after all, it’s the world that made us think that we need the money and all; those fancy things to be happy. In reality, we are blinded, and we can be satisfied through the little things in life.
